Jon Hopkins is an acclaimed English musician and producer known for his immersive electronic compositions. His work is often described as deeply atmospheric and emotionally resonant, and he’s collaborated with renowned artists like Brian Eno, Coldplay, and David Holmes. Hopkins has a unique talent for blending organic and electronic sounds, creating expansive soundscapes that invite listeners into a profound sensory experience.
One of his most groundbreaking contributions is an album crafted specifically to accompany psychedelic journeys. Recognizing the power of music in shaping these experiences, he designed this album with intentional layers and textures to guide listeners through transformative states of mind.
Funga’s favorite track on the album is the final one, Sit Around The Fire, narrated by Ram Dass. It’s a beautiful piece for meditation, especially if you’re short on time but want a moment of reflection at the beginning or end of your day.
