This product marks a new chapter for Funga, transforming the power of plants and fungi into a delicious, feel-good daily ritual. The first functional botanical chocolate of its kind in the UK, it blends kanna, cordyceps and cacao into an mood-boosting treat, developed with an expert herbologist to reimagine chocolate as an intentional experience designed to ease tension, lift the spirit and elevate social connection.

The star ingredient is a succulent called KANNA, used for centuries by the Indigenous Khoisan peoples of South Africa, Kanna calms the nervous system and brings a light, playful and socially open buzz. Partly inspired by the founder’s journey of rethinking her relationship with alcohol, this blend was made for the nights you want to unwind and feel groovy without paying for it the next day.

Funga Chocos work beautifully during the day to help you drop into a flow state, but truly shines in the early evening when you’re cutting back on booze and still want the feeling.

  • High-grade cordyceps made exclusively from 100% fruiting body
  • Traceable, island-grown cacao selected for its purity, character and full-flavoured depth

Funga chose its UK-based chocolate manufacturer for their commitment to sustainable, regenerative agriculture, paying above-fair-trade wages, supporting local farming communities and ensuring zero child labour, zero slavery and zero deforestation across the supply chain.

The inspiration traces back to founder Milana’s time in Mexico, where deep-rooted plant traditions are not alternative, they are a indespensible part of the culture´s make-up. Surrounded by a country that honors nature as teacher, healer and guide, Milana felt called to make this kind of relationship with the natural world more accessible back home.

From that inspiration, Funga’s mission took shape: to help reconnect the UK and Europe with the remarkable potential of plants and fungi, alongside integration practices that work in natural symbiosis.
