The other day, while on the tube, I overheard a man saying, “Life is a symphony of synchronicities.” This immediately caught my attention, as one of my favorite aspects of psychedelics has always been the stories of synchronicities.

The term was popularized by the psychologist Carl Jung, who saw synchronicities as moments when the internal world (thoughts, emotions) aligns with the external world (events, experiences) in a way that feels significant, suggesting a deeper underlying order in the universe.

I believe psychedelics are so powerful because they heighten our awareness of these meaningful coincidences, which aren’t just confined to that altered state but, if we pay close attention, happen almost daily. For me, stories of synchronicities are like tangible pieces of magic, which is why I love them so much. They allow glimpses into the hidden connections that shape our lives, they awaken awe and remind of the deep interconnectedness of everything and everyone.
