There are three core elements of The Path of awakening and healing. They are interwoven and interconnected: Experiences, Integration and Community.
I recently asked a mentor of mine, Justin Townsend (Head Facilitator and CEO of MycoMeditation), which retreats he can vouch for and thinks are doing a great job at facilitating psychedelics. Justin is one of the most knowledgeable people I have come across in the industry, and I trust his judgment fully as I have seen first-hand the life-changing therapies he has done with people close to me. One of the answers he gave me was Enfold.
Enfold offers safe and sacred retreat experiences on a small island outside of Vancouver BC combining entheogenic medicines, breathwork, meditation, somatic modalities, and intimacy work, with a grounding in Buddhist philosophy.
Enfold was co-founded by Steve and Austin, a husband and wife team that have been on The Path for decades. They have worked with various plant and animal medicines since the mid 90s and combined that work with deep spiritual enquiry, meditation, and inner exploration. (text from the Enfold website)
Steve and Austin work with 5-Meo-DMT, as well as a number of other medicines as well as breathwork for those who prefer a substance-free experience. There are individuals, couple, and group experiences available.
“5-MeO-DMT is a psychedelic of the tryptamine class. It is found in a wide variety of plant species, but is best known as an “animal medicine” found in the Sonaran Desert Toad. For ethical and safety reasons, most practitioners work with a synthetic (vegan) form of 5-MeO-DMT. It is the most powerful psychedelic in the world and offers incredible healing properties.” (Enfold)
